Well, the cool kids of London are wrapping up another season and this season the front-row set did not disappoint. While Gotham’s fashion flock bundled up in feathery confections, the It Brits took a decidedly more demure route in clean and classic tailoring. Kendall Jenner opted for a camel coat to coordinate with the nude stilettos anchoring her cream crop top and powder blue trousers, while Victoria Beckham once again illustrated the power of monochromatic dressing in a menswear-inspired topcoat (its chain detail matching that of her handbag). Emily Ratajkowski slipped into a streamlined coatdress for a look that broadcast a sense of polished sophistication. Playing with black and white was Alexa Chung whose architecturally influenced ensemble was brought into edgier territory via a leather skirt with a thigh-high slit. Keeping things slightly more conservative was Lauren Santo Domingo in whose fifty-shades-of-gray outfit left us breathless.

But leave it to the supermodel Brit babes to bring on the fun. Cara Delevingne offset her lace dress and cropped shearling with patchwork over-the-knee suede boots adding a bohemian element to her luxe look while Kate Moss fell head over heels for a fringed fur cape. And making the splashiest appearance of the week? Naomi Campbell, whose late arrival to Burberry’s show didn’t detract from her stunning gilded ensemble and shaggy fur. London’s ladies showed how to dress for all climates—here’s hoping that Milan’s front rows are just as glamorous.
